IMG_1434With the 56th General Assembly officially beginning Thursday, Aug. 4, undergrads, Student Advisory Committee members, volunteers and members of the Grand High Zeta are trickling into the National Doral Resort here in Miami, Fla. in anticipation of Lambda Chi Alpha’s biggest event of the year.

“The next few days are very important for the future of the Fraternity,” said Director of Chapter Services Nick Zuniga. “All delegates should be excited about the opportunity and need to understand the gravity of the situation.”

From Thursday to Saturday, brothers from all over North America will convene for education and legislation sessions which will hit all matters of Lambda Chi Alpha business and brotherhood.

Facilitated by professional staff and alumni volunteers, the chapter services education team has put in countless hours to provide an exceptional education curriculum.

“I’m excited about the robust programming being offered this year, ” said Marcus Kelly, associate director of education, “What we have in store not only focuses on improving chapter operations but also focuses on enhancing the personal growth of our individual members.”

Delegates of General Assembly will also be busy, as over 25 bills and resolutions will be deliberated upon over the next few days which will have a major impact on the fraternity.

“On the other side of things, ” said Brandan Bonds, associate director of executive operations, “We’re excited about the wide array of legislation that’s being proposed this year and we look forward to discussing the bills that will impact our Fraternity for the future.”

“This is looking to be one of the best yet,” added Zuniga. “What a great time to be a Lambda Chi!”
